Structural Glazing stands for a glass assembly technique in façade engineering, where the glass elements are bonded to the supporting aluminium or stainless steel structure using specially developed high performance Silicone sealants.
Static and dynamic loads on the outside façade such as dead load, climate and wind loads are transferred to the substructure by the structural bonding.
For this field of application KÖMMERLING has developed Silicone sealants which fulfil the requirements of EN 1279, including part 3 for gas filled panes as well as the requirements of ETAG 002, EN 15434 and especially for France CEKAL and SNJF. A dedicated weather sealant and adapted primers and cleaners complete the extensive product range.
So KÖMMERLING offers the most complete range of high quality sealants for the glass industry.
