Quality management
The name KÖMMERLING has stood for high-quality adhesives and sealants for more than 100 years.
This was confirmed back at the beginning of 1995 by ongoing certification audits in accordance with ISO 9001, making KÖMMERLING CHEMISCHE FABRIK GMBH one of the first manufacturers of adhesives and sealants to be certified in accordance with this internationally recognised quality management standard.
As a result of our increasingly international orientation, we became a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) back in 1998.
In the years since then, we have continually extended the management system, adding the areas of environmental management and occupational health and safety. Accordingly, the entire management system was certified by the TÜV Rheinland technical inspection agency in 2005. This means that, since then, KÖMMERLING CHEMISCHE FABRIK GMBH has been one of the few adhesive and sealant manufacturers worldwide to meet all the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 (quality management), DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 (environmental management) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety management) standards, and to have been audited and certified in accordance with these standards.
